Bio Diversity Roof

Posted 22 Jun 2014

This living roof was designed to be a little different to standard green roofs. With the addition of hand gathered sustainably sourced logs, clay bricks, Sedum cuttings with selected wild flowers. We also made the addition of some edible varieties of wild strawberries and some herbs for the local wild life to snack on. This type of living roof adds a new dimension to the roof space and is a constant source of pleasure to the clients who watch the various plants thrive throughout the year. The added benefit of searching for insects who now call this roof home make maintenance visits a source of pride for the team who look after it.
